JERRY's Story

ALLAGASH - 1938-2014. Jerry G. McBreairty entered into eternal rest on the evening of December 1, 2014 surrounded by family. A lifetime resident of Allagash, he was a fisherman, hunter, trapper, fur trader, carpenter, craftsman, and good friend to many. He worked as a logger and machine operator in Northern Maine most of his life. Jerry served proudly in the military US Army, Camp Red Cloud, Korea DMZ 55th MP. Jerry is survived by his wife of 53 years Lonna Pelletier McBreairty of Allagash and seven children: Jerry and Kathleen, Jess, Patsy and Jeff, Polly and Steve, Lana and Bob, Laura Lee, Amy Lynn and Mike.

Eleven Grandchildren: Ashley and Derek, Brittany, Stevie and Heather, Heather and Troy, Braigan and Patrick, Drake and Megan, Christian and Carly Rae, Payton, Connor, Austin, Maddox. Nine Great-Grandchildren: Caelon, Khloe, Tucker, Neva, Reagan, Rylee, Calvin, Piper and Raylan.

Jerry is survived by Brother Sherman (Easton) and Sisters Patsy (Ohio), Grace and Maude (Allagash). He is predeceased by Parents Charles and Marge McBreairty of Allagash, Great-grandson Tucker Caron, and Sisters Fanny, Dola, Venus and Winnie.

A beloved native of Allagash, Jerry will be dearly missed and remembered for his kind heart, strength and laughter. For his family, there will be an eternal void. May he rest in peace until we meet again.
