Jerry's Story

WARREN - Jerry "Bear" Lydick, 56, passed away on September 24, 2014, with his family and hospice family at his sides, holding his

hands with so much love for him. He was born in Castine on

September 27, 1957, the son of Gwendolyn (Lydick) Eaton Gray and Ronald Eaton Sr.

Jerry was raised by and is survived by his kind and loving mother of Bucksport; brothers, Ronald Eaton Jr. of Hermon, Jon Eaton of Manchester, N.H., Danny Eaton of Stockton Springs and "Bear's baby sister," Cindy Pelletier of East Orland, who always looked up to him, and has been very close to him, no matter what others thought or said, then or now. He is also survived by three daughters, Audrey, Sara and Tonya of Bucksport; a stepdaughter, Crystal Angelo of Bucksport; and his godson, Derick York of Bangor. He has five grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his father; a brother, Gary; a sister, Wendy; and a stepfather, John Maguire, who he always thought the world of. Bear had a lot of love and support from us that know the truth. A very heartfelt thank you to Franklin Higgins, and the Hospice team, for everything you have all done for Bear and our family. There is so much respect and brotherly love that goes way beyond.
