LINCOLN AND INTERLACHEN, FL - Jeremy Coburn, 37, passed away unexpectedly February 6, 2016, in Interlachen, Florida. He was born February 3, 1979, in Lincoln, the son of Rhonda Coburn-Philbrook.
He grew up in the Lincoln area. Jeremy enjoyed doing carpentry work, was very good at car repair and mechanic work, and loved spending time with family and friends. Always trying to be the best father he could, he made sure his children lacked nothing. He worked at setting mobile homes all over the state of Maine and more recently, the state of Florida. He had moved to Florida eleven years ago with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-dad, Rich; his wife of 15 years, Dorothy "Dee" Coburn; three children, Jacob, Landen and Kaitlyn; a brother, Jamie Coburn, of Old Town; two cousins, Amanda and Mallory; parents-in-law, Harold "Butch" and Mabel Sibley, of Florida; he also leaves many cousins and special friends who will never forget him. His children were the joy of his life, and he will be greatly missed by them and by the rest of his family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Roger and Hazel Coburn; a brother, Joseph; and an uncle, Michael Coburn. We all grieve for him, and feel the pain of his passing.
A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln, with the Rev. Cheryl Stratton officiating. A luncheon will be held at Lincoln United Methodist Church following the service. Graveside services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to help his wife and children may be left at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at clayfuneralhome.com.
