MADAWASKA AND FRENCHVILLE - Jeannine Morneault, 77, passed away on October 31, 2015 at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born in Madawaska on March 27, 1938, daughter of the late Hector and Laurette (Lagasse) Michaud.
Jeannine was a communicant of St. Thomas Church as well as a past Chaplain of the Daughters of Isabella. She loved to play cards with family and friends, but she really enjoyed riding four wheeler with her husband.
She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty eight years, Adrien Morneault of Frenchville; five children, Sharon Ouellette and her husband Gene of Madawaska, Ron Morneault of Scarborough, Michael Morneault and his wife Debby of Van Buren, Allen Morneault and his wife Elizabeth of Grand Isle, David Morneault and his wife Theresa of Madawaska; twelve grandchildren, Derek, Adam, Abbie, Melyssa, Michelle, Myles, Mikey, Josh, Matt, Jesse, Brooke, and Hollie; six great grandchildren; one sister, Jacqueline Baron and her husband Alban of St. David; one brother, Renald Michaud and his wife Carol of Lady Lake, FL; many nieces and nephews. Jeannine was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Shirley Morneault in July of 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Monday and from 9am until 9:45am on Tuesday before the Service.
