Jeannette's Story

BANGOR - Jeannette O. Perry, 88, died March 6, 2015, at SeaPort Village in Ellsworth. She was born Oct. 17, 1926 in Bangor the daughter of Pasquale and Lillie (Bilson) Caruso. Jeannette was a graduate of John Bapst High School, was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bangor and was a member of St. Mary's Sodality. She was a volunteer for RSVP , was a member of the Bangor Community Chorus and the Y players.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond Perry and his wife, Barbara of Lamoine and Richard Perry and his companion, Crystle of CT; three daughters, Jacqueline Martin of St. Cloud, FL, Mary Perry-Dysart and her husband, Ed of Hampden, Maureen Perry of Dedham; six grandchildren Renee Weeks of Bangor, Lisa Kimball of St. Cloud, FL, William Kimball of Prospect, Robert Perry and his wife, Jamie of Hermon, Stephen Perry of Ellsworth and Amanda Dysart of Hampden; ten great grandchildren; one brother, John Caruso and his companion, Linda of Brewer; two sisters, Marlene Sonderman and her husband, Joseph, Theresa Griebler and her husband, James. Jeannette sends special love and prayers to her wonderful friends at Ellen Leach Home in Brewer and Denise Platt of Brewer and her husband Robert.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Perry in 1990, two daughters, Kathleen Williams and Jennifer Perry; five sisters, Lillie,Elizabeth, Helen, Mary, Marguerite and by three brothers, Francis, William and Richard.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401
