ORLAND - Jeanne D. Flannery, 78, died Friday October 9, 2015 after a long illness with her loving family by her side at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. She was born in Orland on March 221, 1937 to Arthur and B. Opal (Roi) Snowman.
She enjoyed traveling, camping, snowmobiling, crocheting afghans for family, playing the piano and playing Phase 10 with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving family, her husband Edward H. Flannery, son Scotte Flannery and his partner Mary, daughter; Michelle Richards and her husband Wayne, grandchildren; Jana Grant and her husband Jason and their children Eli and Finn, Jill Richards and her partner Scott Landers, Aaron Flannery and his wife Brittany and their daughter Madilyn Jeanne and Andi Lee Flannery. She is also survived by her sister; Patricia Gross and husband Alton, sisters in law; Charlotte Snowman, Helen Varnum, Elizabeth Tweedie and husband Brian, Hildred Emerton and husband Linwood, Donna Flannery and Margot Flannery, brothers in law; Lionel Harvey and Kenneth Flannery and wife Patricia, as well as several nieces, nephews, close friends and church family.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her step-father Albea Snowman, sisters; Molly, Katherine, Margaret, Sandra, brothers; Vincent, Robert and Douglas, several sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Hancock County Homecare and Hospice Team for their care and support over the past months.
