Janet will be remembered for her bright smile, strong will, and her willingness to share whatever she had. Her kitchen was always open and she will be missed for sharing her food and fresh homemade bread with friends and neighbors alike. Many children of Indian Township will miss her candy apples and "special" Halloween bags.

Janet loved making Passamaquoddy baskets and shared that talent with her family, Wabanaki communities, and others. Her love for her children and her dedication to helping others is her legacy. It is one that will forever evoke fond memories in those that knew her.
