- Jacklyn 'Jackie' (Mosher) Baker Clements, daughter of Lillian Baker Crider and Franklin Mosher, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and cats. Jackie was born on July 11th, 1930 in Waterville, Maine. Jackie led a full life. She grew up in Oakland, Maine, and graduated from Williams High School. She attended Farmington State Teachers College before graduating from Thomas Business School. In 1951 she married John.
She enjoyed traveling with his military career to Illinois and Mississippi, before returning to Maine. Jackie was well known in her community of West Enfield, Maine. She and her sister-in-law Rita owned the Big Dipper take out before opening the Montague House Restaurant in 1986 with her daughter, Nannette. They employed numerous members of the community. Jackie was past president of the PTA and for several years organized talent shows to benefit The March of Dimes. Jackie was very active in her Church for over 50 years. Jackie was well known for her love of strays, both stray animals and stray humans alike. Many people have memories of her kindness, love and generosity.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents, her husband John, her aunt Ethel and uncle Ken Baker, her nephew Kenny and numerous in-laws and loved ones. Jackie is survived by her brother, Franklin, her daughter Nannette Fleming and her husband Keith, her grandson Aaron Feldmus and his girlfriend Kim Roy, her grandson Jera Feldmus and his wife Stacey, her granddaughter Mariah Collins and her husband Shawn, her great-grandchildren Felicia Feldmus, Chelsey Feldmus, Delaney Keller and Caleb Collins, her beloved cats, numerous friends, family and loved ones.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9 with the Rev. Jack Hyland officiating. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Enfield Baptist Church, your local Humane Society or Forgotten Felines.
