CORINTH - Irene B. Clement, 81, passed away peacefully at her home after a long illness with her loving family at her side. She was born Apr. 12, 1933 in Medway.
Irene is survived by three sons, twins, Dwain and Wayne Clement both of Corinth and Michael Clement of Newport; one daughter, Wanda Jean Duran and her husband, Steve of Corinth; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sisters, Emma Ashbery and Hazel Stevens both of New York, Ethel Mullen and he husband, Gary of Levant, Linda Theriault of Milo, Shirley Hill and her husband, John of Kenduskeag; one brother, Ernest Spinney of Corinth; a special nephew, Carroll Lyons and his wife, Priscilla of Medway. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Dwain Clement, sisters, Dorothy Spinney and Evelyn Lyons; brothers, Sam and Wesley Spinney and Guy Spinney, Jr.
Dwain and Wayne Clement cared for their mother at home for a long period of time. She had a remarkable spiritual faith and she has gone to meet her Lord and Savior.
A funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor with Pastor Dalton Dunfee, presiding. Burial will be at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
