- Hollis Otis Wyman, 82, husband of Ellen (Bishop) Wyman, passed away February 16, 2017, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. He was born July 15, 1934, in Winn, the son of Murray and Alluna (Corbett) Wyman.
Hollis was a simple man. He always felt it was his duty to work very hard to provide for his family. He was a good father. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his true passion was cutting wood. Hollis was a charter member of the Bible Baptist Church in Lincoln. In addition to his wife, Ellen, of Winn, he is survived by two daughters, Wanda Wyman, of Bangor and Annette Clay and Stephen, of Lincoln; a grandson, Joel Wyman-Davis, of Bangor; cousins, Francis Cruciani and Patricia Smith; and longtime friends, Dan Whitney and Chandler Ireland. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two children, Sarah Wyman and Eric Wyman; and a brother, Robert Wyman.
Friends may visit with his family from 12-2 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2017, at Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev Terry Upcott officiating.
