Henry's Story

BRIDGEWATER - Henry M. Dearborn Jr., 85, went home to be with his Lord on December 8, 2015, with his family by his side. He was born in Blaine on April 12, 1930, the son of Henry and Dorothy (Tompkins) Dearborn.

He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Henry loved farming and enjoyed working at his family farm in Bridgewater. He was also a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Yvonne (Slipp) Dearborn, his daughter Janine and her husband Benjamin Moore of Delaware and their children Branden and Wayne and his wife Heather, his daughter Cleo Zaccardi and her husband Dana of Blaine and their children Marcie Halbmaier and her husband Jason, and their son Zaccaria, Alan Zaccardi and his girlfriend Ashley of Delaware. He will also be missed by his brother Fred Dearborn and his wife Rita of Blaine, his sister Betty Lou Grimmette of Michigan.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Louis and a sister Audrey Finnemore.

Family and friends may call 10-11AM Saturday December 12, 2015 at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home 30 Church ST. Presque Isle where a memorial service with military honors will be held at 11AM with Pastor Bob Peters officiating. There will be a reception following services at the funeral home.
