Helen's Story

BREWER - Helen Goodrich, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 in Bangor. She was born August 21, 1925 in Brewer, the daughter of William J. and Theresa M. (Conley) LeClair.

Helen was a 1942 graduate of John Bapst High School. She was employed for 24 years by David Braidy's Clothing Store in Bangor and by Freese's Department Store at the Airport Mall for 17 years. She was also a communicant of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Brewer.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Goodrich, her longtime companion, Edward J. Corbett, a niece, Katherine King and by a special cousin, Patricia Adams. Helen is survived by one sister, Agnes Redman of Brewer; one nephew, John Redman of Old Town; two nieces, Mary Ellen Russell of Bangor and Brenda Boltz of Westborough, Mass.; Edward's children, Linda Sibley, Sharon MacLeod, John Corbett and Jackie Harris.

Family and friends may visit 3 - 4 PM Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer where the Funeral Liturgy will be held at 4 PM as the visitation concludes. A reception will be held immediately afterward a Kostas Restaurant in Brewer. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer in the spring.
