Hattie's Story

GREENBUSH - Hattie B. (Campbell) Twitchell, 84, wife of the late Edwin W. Twitchell, died peacefully December 10, 2014 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born June 9, 1930 in Craigsville, VA a daughter of Everette C. and Mary (Patterson) Campbell.

She enjoyed canning, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was employed for many years at York Commons at the University of Maine.

She is survived by four children Billy Twitchell and his wife Debra, Roxanne Twitchell, Rosemary Twitchell, Arthur Twitchell and his wife Robin all of Greenbush; five grandchildren Mary and Bill Thomas, Amanda and Tedd Williams, Kevin Twitchell, Jessica Souppa, Joshua Twitchell; thirteen great grandchildren Austin, Earl, Dennis, Andrew, Matthew, Noah, Devin, Faith, Bethany, Christopher, Savannah, Damien, and Michael; two sisters Rosalie Sprouse and Myrtle Balser of VA; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Edwin in 2006; seven sisters Helen Hamilton, Ethel Balser, Georgie Sensabaugh, Lillian Brouillette, Antha Sprouse, Jean Rowe, Agnes Sensabaugh; three brothers Earl Campbell, Jesse Campbell, and Alfred Campbell.

A funeral service will be conducted 2PM Saturday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St, Old Town. Spring burial will be at Greenbush Cemetery, Greenbush . Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Eastern Maine c/o Eastern Maine Charities P.O. Box 404 Bangor, ME 04401
