DANFORTH - Harvey Hanington, 76, died peacefully at the Ross Manor in Bangor, Me. on Tuesday Dec.1, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born on August 19,1939 to Hollis and Muriel (Tedford) Hanington.
In addition to his employment as a forester, Harvey was also a member of Baskahegan Lodge #175, a Shriner, a registered Maine Guide, and an avid harness racing participant.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons Jay, Jamie, and Jody, and 5 siblings, Victor, Hollis Jr., Douglas, Faylene, and Wilfred.
He is survived by his sisters, Mildred, and Joyce, and 2 brothers, Willard, and Taylor, his daughter, Pamela Theriault, 2 grandsons, 1 great grandson, stepchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend his memorial service on Saturday, December 5th at 11:00am at the Baptist Church on Maple St., Danforth, Me. Interment will take place at Drew Plantation, Drew, Me.
