SPRINGFIELD - Harold "Buckshot" Ham Sr. 88, died November 4th 2015 surrounded by family after losing his battle with Lung Cancer. Buckshot was the son of Austin and Gertrude (Orr) Ham born on June 28, 1927, one of fourteen siblings.
He is survived by his son Harold "Chum" Ham Jr. and his life partner Reita Rockey, daughters Shelly Arthers and her husband Scott, their children Rakel, Christopher, Michael and Charlotte, Becky Ham and her fiancé Bob Evans, and his end of life companion Marion Curry. He is also survived by Siblings Joyce Tozier, Jean and husband Hazen Sawtelle, Linda and husband Ronald Doane. He was predeceased by his wife Florence "Mildred" Ham, five sisters Dorothy Comer, Blanche White, Ruth Gibbs, Catherine Granville and Marge Budge, and brothers Lawrence, Norman and Keith.
Buckshot was a veteran of the Korean War, a carpenter and a logger. He enjoyed gardening, 4 wheeling, Yard Sale'in' and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Springfield Community Chapel on Saturday, November 7th at 3pm.
