Asked For So Little But Gave So Very Much
- Grover Cleveland Curtis Jr., 85 went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2017. Grover was born March 10, 1931 and was the son of Grover Curtis Sr and Lucy Drost Curtis. He served his country in the National Guard for several year. Grover loved to fish and listening to Christian music. He was always kind and gentle, willing to provide a helping hand, and met you with a smile. Grover is survived by nine children: Lydia May, Meldon Curtis, Grover Curtis, Darlene Cubick, Sheila Mayhew, Sharon Pomeroy, Michael Curtis, Rodney Curtis, Darrell Curtis, and 1 sister Sharon Howe. And he was predeceased by two daughters: Francis Curtis and Nettie Beatham along with one son: Roland Curtis. Grover has 36 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. A special thank you to Stillwater Health Care, Debbie Conley and Linda Parent and Beacon Hospice for all you did for Grover in his waning years. Graveside services will be held at Smart Cemetery in Swanville, ME in the spring.
