MILO - Geraldine C. Comeau, 89, wife of the late Cyril Owen Comeau, passed away December 27, 2014, at Pleasant Meadow Estates in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born January 26, 1925, in Derby, the daughter of George and Mary (Gagnon) Stephens. Geraldine was a parishioner of Sts. Francis Xavier and Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and a member of the Nurses Guild in Milo. Gerry worked as an RN in the Milo Community Hospital for many years before going to EMMC in Bangor. She retired from nursing in 1990 and enjoyed her vacation home in Brooksville, Florida for many years. She will be sadly missed by her loving family.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Comeau and his wife, Eleanor of Florida, and Michael Comeau and his wife, Angie, of Atkinson; a daughter, Stephanie Damboise and her husband, Alan, of Old Town; eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11am Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Sts. Francis Xavier and Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Milo, with Rev. Joseph Cahill officiating. Spring burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
