EXETER AND WINDSOR, CT - Gerald Joseph Dube, 96, died May 29, 2015, in Windsor, CT. He was born September 22, 1918, in Notre Dame Du Lac, Quebec, Canada, the son of Felix and Ida (Potvin) Dube.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After the war he worked as an aircraft assembler for Pratt & Whitney in E. Hartford, CT for many years. In 1985 he retired and returned to live in Maine. In later years, due to ill health he went back to CT to be near his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Evans) Dube; a son, "Pete"; a daughter, Cheryl; 2 brothers, Larry and Lucien; 2 half-brothers, Gilbert and Bill; and a half-sister, Jeanette.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Gracewski and her husband, John of Windsor, CT, and Rose Marie Finn of E. Windsor, CT; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; nieces and nephews.
