Gerald's Story

ORRINGTON - Gerald "Tom" Cox, 80, died December 11, 2014 at home. He was born October 11, 1934 in Bangor, the son of Leon Stanton Cox and Vivian Farwell. Tom graduated from Brewer High School in 1953. He was married to Suzanne Thomas Cox for 45 years. He worked for Bangor Hydro for 39 years and retired 1993. He was a member of Ralph Pollard No. 217 AF&AM and a former member of Anah Shrine Horse Patrol. He loved all animals especially his horse and cat Abby. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Anna and son Steve. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, and children Susan Biardi (husband Cliff), son Michael (wife Mary), Julie Washburn-Cox, Lee (wife Patti), Eric (wife Bonnie), Dana (wife Julie), 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and sisters Marilyn and Jean. A special thank you to St. Joseph Hospice for their wonderful care. Private family service to be scheduled at a later date.
