Old Town - George I. Tucker, Sr. (78)

George (Whoop) Tucker of Old Town passed away on November 30th in Prattville, AL surrounded by his three children after a long courageous battle with COPD. He was born in Danforth, ME on September 18, 1938 the son of the late Ernest and Claire (Butters) Tucker.
George is survived by two daughters; Tammy Crouthamel and her husband Billy, Linda Stewart and her significant other Jim Townsend and one son, George I. Tucker, Jr and his wife Lisa. Five Grandchildren; Jason Tucker and his wife Meghan, Jeremy Tucker and his wife Amanda, Zachary Hancock, Makayla Hancock and Mikayla (Meeks) Crouthamel. Four Great-grandchildren, Alexis Tucker, Jack Tucker, Zachery Price and Rowyn Lolar.
He is also survived by one brother Paul Tucker and his wife Brenda, one sister Marjorie (Agg) Tripp, one very special sister-in-law Norma Ewer and her husband John and one brother-in-law Jerry Stormann.
He is also survived by his second family who loved him like their own, Terry Randall, Cheryl Randall, Heidi Curtis, Jeff Randall and their families, and several very special nieces and nephews and many special life long friends.
George was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Ann Tucker. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Edward Tucker, Lewis Tucker and three sisters, Beulah Golding, Fern Stormann and Althea Lake and his late in life companion Vivian Willette and her son Steve Randall.
George enjoyed many years of (heater) hunting and also loved fishing. When his health deteriorated to the point that he could not walk to hunt, his gun became a video camera. We teased him that he would shoot them one way or the other.
We also would like to say a very special thank you to his two restaurant families; Governors in Old Town and Dysarts in Hermon.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
