Geneva's Story

FORT KENT - Geneva M. Nadeau, 87, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2014 at Forest Hill Manor in Fort Kent. She was born on July 25, 1927 the youngest of thirteen children and was the last living sibling. She was the daughter of Honore and Catherine (Babin) Michaud. Geneva attended schools in Fort Kent where she lived her whole life. Geneva is survived by her husband of 67 years, Alberie Nadeau and six children. Gloria Saucier and her husband Dana, Rita Cyr and her husband Phil, Donna Freeman and her husband Lee, Paul and his wife Helen, Tom and his fiance Debbie, and Peter and his wife Donnell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren. Dana, Karen, Cathy, Chris, Mike, Matt, Glenn, Erin, Susan, Terry, Wayne, Jennifer, Zach, Emily and Katy and several great grand children.

At the family's request there will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October, 21, 2014 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent, Maine. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or Hospice of Aroostook, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Daigle Funeral Home Fort Kent
