Gayle's Story

Saint Agatha - Gayle Plourde Pelletier, 68, passed away September 24, 2016, and was granted her angel wings after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that loved her dearly.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Aurore (Guimond) Plourde and Doris Cote, maternal mother. Gayle was born October 22, 1947, in Merriden, Conn. She graduated from Wisdom High School in 1966.
She is survived by three children, Kim McGlinn and her husband, Jerry of Mapleton, Randy Pelletier and Lisa Beaulieu of Edmundston, Ryan Pelletier and his wife, Becky of Frenchville; 7 grandchildren, whom she adored dearly, Bethany, Matthew, Cody, Katie, Reece, Logan, and Blake; 1 great grandchild, Huxley; 3 sisters, Gloria Gervais of St. Agatha, Claudia Morin and her husband Francis of Sinclair, Rita Plourde of Lewiston. 2 sisters in law, Pauline Plourde of Plainville, Conn. and Fern Plourde of Ft. Fairfield.; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Gayle was predeceased by 2 brothers, Joseph Plourde and Gerard Plourde.
Friends and relatives may give their condolences to the family at Our Lady of the Valley in St. Agatha from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016, with the Rev. Kent Ouellette officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Edgar J.
