MILFORD - Gary T. Thibodeau, 68, died February 7, 2015 at a Bangor hospital. He was born Sept 16, 1946 in Old Town a son of Francis Henry and Rose Elizabeth (Jack) Thibodeau.
Gary graduated from Old Town High School and served with the US Air Force. Following his military enlistment, he returned to Old Town where he worked and retired in 2004 from the Georgia Pacific mill following 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and ice fishing, camp at Beech Hill Pond, attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren. For many years, he bowled in the Old Town bowling league.
He is survived by four children, daughter Tammy Moore and her husband Jake of Milford, Thomas Thibodeau and his wife Renee of Old Town, step daughter Lisa French and her husband Robert of Old Town, step-son Guy Doughty and his wife Ami of NC; seven grandchildren Steven Vandez, Hailie Moore, Lucas Moore, Hunter Thibodeau, Matthew French, Olivia Thibodeau, and Paisley Moore; brother Allen Thibodeau and his wife Catherine of Otis, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 34 years Joan I. (Eastman) Thibodeau on Feb 28, 2014.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. There will be no formal funeral services. Spring burial will be at Milford Cemetery. Notes of condolence may be left at www.birminghamfuneralhome.com.
