MEDWAY - G. Pauline "Billie" Farrington, 85, passed away on April 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Billie was the wife of the late Paul H. Farrington, and she was the youngest child of William G. and Gladys E. (Pickett) Robertson.

Billie was born in Millinocket on June 4, 1929. She was raised and schooled in East Millinocket, graduating from Schenck High School in 1946. On September 3, 1946, she and Paul were married, a union that lasted 65 years. In October 1983, Billie received her certification as a Lay Minister of the Aroostook Association United Church of Christ. She was very proud and honored to have served in many of the Association's Churches. She was a member of the First Congregational Church U. C. C. of East Millinocket, where she sang with the Church Choir for over 40 years.

She is survived by five children, John W. and wife, Donna, of Medway, Paula L. and husband, Oliver W. Hayes Jr., of Reading, MA., Rebecca J. and husband, Stephen Coon, of Medway, William R. and partner, Lori Harley, of Portland and Matthew P. and wife, Shelley, of Millinocket; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom were special to Nana; her sister, Hildred E. Ciarrocchi of East Millinocket; a special niece, Marie McLaughlin of Millinocket; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; sister, Josephine Fiske; and her brother, Roderick Robertson.

Friends may call 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, May 1, at First Congregational Church, 11 Maple Street, East Millinocket, where a memorial service will be held at noon with the Reverend Linda Hatch and Deacon Danny Watson officiating. Burial will be in the Medway Cemetery on the Grindstone Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Memorial Gift Committee of the First Congregational Church, 11 Maple St., East Millinocket, ME 04430.
