COLUMBIA FALLS - Frank "Tony" Antonio Cirone III, 72, passed away peacefully at his home Oct. 18, 2015 with his loving wife by his side. He was born Sept. 22, 1943 in Jonesport the son of the late Ora E. (Chandler) and Frank Antonio Cirone Jr.
He worked for 38 years as a custodian and bus driver for SAD # 37, and greatly enjoyed all the staff and students at Harrington and Columbia Falls Elementary Schools. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his camp at Montegail Pond. He especially enjoyed time spent with his canine companion Bentley.
He is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years Peggy (Driscoll) Cirone; a daughter Monica West and her companion Daniel Fairbrother of Jonesboro; a grandson Adam West and his wife Brittany of Jonesboro; three sisters-in-law Charlene Cirone of South Addison, Sally Thompson and her husband Earland of Addison and Patricia Driscoll of Columbia Falls; two aunts, Norma Wilbur and Marion Morris Parkman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Ernest Sr. and Craig Sr.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday Oct. 24, 2015 at the Columbia Falls United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at the Wreaths Across America Headquarters (formerly the Columbia Falls Grammar School) Condolences and memories may be shared at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com
