Frances's Story

CORNISH - Frances A. Pulsifer, 60, of Cornish died on January 15, 2015 at a Hospice Facility in Scarborough. She was born in Millinocket on February 17, 1954 a daughter of Richard and Betty Lee (Gray) Desjardins and attended Millinocket schools. She was a devoted homemaker her entire life and was also a hard worker outside the home. She has owned and operated Pulsifer's Apple Orchards in South Cornish for the past 18 years.

Frances enjoyed cooking and canning her food. She also loved to feed people and enjoyed get togethers with family and friends.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and very proud of her faith. Frances will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her mother as well as a brother, James Desjardins. Surviving are her father, Richard Desjardins of North Carolina. Two sons, Elijah Webber of Cornish and Lucas Webber and wife Jenny of Garland. A daughter, Cassandra Beal of Saco. Four grandchilden: Jacob, Oliver, Nasim and Nigel. A brother, David R. Desjardins of Porter. A sister, Cheryl Greene and husband Larry of Virginia. Also a sister-in-law, Sherry Desjardins and four nieces and nephews: Mary Beth Helstrom, Jason Perry, Rachel Perry and Forrest Desjardins.

A memorial service will be today, Wednesday, January 21, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Parsonsfield (Kezar Falls). Arrangements by Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home.
