FORT KENT - Florence Marie Daigle, 81, died peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on November 19, 2015, at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. She was born in Augusta on August 28, 1934, the daughter of Alfred and Bertha (Viel) Thibodeau.
Florence enjoyed her daily walks, picking fiddle heads and strawberries, and also puzzle making. She was a member of the Fort Kent Senior Citizen Club.
She is survived by her two sons; John and Nancy Daigle of St. Jacques, N.B. and Mike Daigle of New Canada. Two daughters; Arlene and her husband Allen Blier of Fort Kent, Louise and her husband Paul Willette of Cape Elizabeth.
Two granddaughters; Shelly Deprey and Nicole Daigle, One great-grandson, Sawyer Deprey, One brother; Norman Thibodeau of Caribou. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Wilmer R. Daigle in 2001, her brother, Leon Thibodeau and sister, Odette Thibodeau.
Friends may call Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and 9 am Monday November 23rd until time of service at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent, A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 am Monday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In Florence's memory, donations may be made to Country Village Estates, 260 Dugal Drive, Madawaska, 04756.
