OLD TOWN AND ORONO - Ethelyn "Bunny" G. Woodard, 91, died December 16, 2014, at a Bangor hospital, following a long term illness. She was born April 28, 1923, in Schoodic Station, ME, a daughter of Edwin R. and Edith G. (Fitz) Strout Wilson.
She grew up in Milo and Schoodic Lake was always a huge part of her life. She was an active member of the VFW and American Legion Women's Auxiliaries holding several offices. She loved people and enjoyed many wonderful friends at Hasbrook Ct., Orono. She loved to hunting, fishing and spending many years at Schoodic Lake. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed family get togethers. She volunteered at Parker Dining Hall, Orono, for many years. She enjoyed crafts.
She is survived by three children, James Comeau and his fiancee, Penny Daudelin, of Old Town, Julie Anderson of Old Town and Christine Davis of Old Town; her companion of 18 years, Donald Davis and his family; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Julia Sweeney of Ormand Beach, FL, and Alice Inman and her husband, Elmer, of Westbrook; two special friends, Anita Savoy and Linda Voye of Orono; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Stanley Woodard; son, Joseph Comeau; granddaughters, Cynthia Comeau and Brenda Cunningham; three brothers, Wesley, Perley and George Strout; and two sisters Hattie Wilson and Virginia Wylie.
