INVERNESS, FL - Ernestine L. Currier Tinkham, 86, of Inverness, FL and Millinocket, ME passed away October 30, 2014. She was born August 28, 1928, daughter of Mildred and Ernest Currier. She graduated from Stearns High School in 1947 and married Joseph E. Tinkham. She was a wonderful wife and mother, caring for four children and baking lots of cookies. She and Joe retired to Bradenton, FL in 1981, and moved to Inverness, FL in 2004. She was predeceased by Joe and her son, Ronald, Sr. in 2012. She is survived by her children: Dianne and husband, George (Beau) Bilodeau of Inverness, FL and Winterport, ME; Robert and wife, Mary; daughter-in-law Louise Tinkham and Mike Hartley; David and his friend, Christine Whitmer, all of Millinocket and East Millinocket; her brother, William Lee and his wife, Sandy of Surprise, Arizona. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lisa Bilodeau Brown, Kristen Bilodeau, Traci Martin; Marcie Chasse, Kate Taylor and Joe Tinkham; Ronald, Jr. and Shawn Tinkham; Jeremy Tinkham, and 15 great-grandchildren. There will be no ceremony per her wishes. Arrangements by ICS Cremation. Donations in her memory made be made to Hospice of the Nature Coast, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464, where she received loving care. Interment will be in the spring of 2015.
