WYTOPITLOCK - Wife of the late Forrest (Mike) Bubar, completed her earthly journey peacefully on March 14, 2015 at Houlton Regional Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Wytopitlock on January 22, 1925, the daughter of late Lauriston and Lillian (Mulligan) Carll. She celebrated her 90th Birthday in January with family and friends.
She worked at the Wytopitlock Elementary School for 13 years, as a janitor where she was known as "Gram" to many of students and to all who knew her. She attended the Wytopitlock Baptist Church and could always be found volunteering in the kitchen and with vacation bible school. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren giving of her time playing, joking, teasing, cleaning and loving them unconditionally from the time of their birth. She could always count on her family requesting her famous hot biscuits and molasses. She spent many hours knitting wool socks, mittens, hats and gloves for her family until her eye sight prevented her to carry on. She always enjoyed receiving a phone call from her nieces and nephews to catch up on family news.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald and Gail of Wytopitlock; Donald and Beverly of Lincoln; grandchildren, Ron and Sue of Linneus, Ricky and Angela of Lincoln, Angel and Mike of Medway and Snapper and Traci of Lincoln, and Heather of Mattawamkeag. She is survived by her Great grandchildren; Devin and Sam of Medway, Evan of Mattawamkeag, Macie, Hannah and Hillary of Lincoln, Marley, Rylee and Connor of Lincoln, Ethan, Kate and Emma of Linneus. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Carll of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers, Elmer, Lowell and Morris, one sister, Viola, 2 infant sons Roger and Forrest, and her husband Mike.
Visiting hours with be at her home in Wytopitlock Tuesday March 17th, 1P.M. to 8 P.M.. Funeral Services will be at the Wytopitlock Baptist Church on Wednesday March 18th, at 2 P.M. with Pastor Steve Waite officiating. Spring burial will be in Wytopitlock Cemetery. A time of gathering following the funeral service will be at the Wytopitlock Fire Station.
