Fond Memories Linger Every Day, Remembrance Keeps You Near
- Erica Lynn Kosnow, 37, died unexpectedly on February 7, 2017. She was born on December 15, 1979, to Susan Raineault of Damariscotta and Joseph C. Kosnow of Old Town.
Erica graduated from Old Town High School, then earned a B.A. in Accounting and an MBA at Husson College. She was a consultant for Berry Dunn, Bernstein Shur and Berman and Simmons.
Erica was able to use her communication, warmth and empathy skills, as well as her hard core math skills. Erica also had style and was a great interior decorator. She loved animals and contributed to rescue funds. All her animals were rescue pets.
Erica was the girl with the big smile and booming laugh. She was an adventurer and nature lover. She was fun and interesting, intelligent and curious, and kind and generous. She was always there for people when they needed her.
In addition to her parents, Erica leaves two young daughters, Rya, nine years old, and Aeris, 14 years old. Erica would want them to know she loved them very much and would want them to be happy in life.
In addition, she leaves behind two brothers, Joseph Kosnow II of Portland and Johnathan Kosnow of Orrington; one sister, Rachel Kosnow of Portland; and one nephew, Joseph C. Kosnow III of Portland; several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Erica has left a lot of broken hearts. A huge loss to all who knew her.
