FORT KENT - Emily (Daigle) Michaud, 92, past away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. She was born on February 10, 1923 in Frenchville, the daughter of Alsime and Delia (Theriault) Raymond.
Emily worked 22 years as a Certified Nurses Aid at Northern Maine Center in Fort Kent. She was a member of the Fort Kent Senior Citizen Club.
Emily is survived by her six children: Joel Daigle and his wife Judy of Frenchville, Gilford Daigle and wife Sandra of St. Francis, Linda Daigle of Broadway, NC., Marie Ange Bouley and husband Aurele, Brenda Caron and husband Reno, Peggy Ouellette and husband Tim all of Fort Kent. Five Stepchildren; Paul Michaud and wife Sharon, Jeanne Woodstock and husband Russell; Monica Levy and husband Vincent; Susan Carrabia; Lucy Percy all of Conn.; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Daigle; 2nd husband Lucien Michaud; three sons; Bertrand, Richard, and Kenneth Daigle; one daughter, Jeannine Ouellette, nephew, Robbie Morin; four sister, Nellie Gorneault, Rena and Welda Raymond, and Rosa Michaud; three brothers, Leonard, Guilford, and Alcide Raymond.
Friends may call from 9 am until time of services Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Daigle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Saturday , at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal service will follow in the parish cemetery.
