CARIBOU - Emile Nelson Côté, 78, died at EMMC after a long battle with cancer, November 30th, 2015. He was born April 9, 1937, in Caribou the beloved son of Henry and Louise (Ouellette) Côté.
Emile grew up and lived in Caribou his whole life. He was a member of the VFW and worked at Nynex (now Fairpoint) for 38 years. He enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR, and spending time with his family.
Emile was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judith (Michaud) Côté of Caribou; his sons, Craig Côté of Caribou and Christopher Côté of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter, Michaela (Côté) Henne of Lancaster, PA; three sisters, Lorraine (Côté) and Joe Currier of Granby, MA, Joann (Côté) Plourde of New Britain, CT, Lo-Ann (Côté) and Phil Olmstead of Fort Fairfield; three brothers, Gilbert and Joan Côté of Stafford Springs, CT, Wilfred and Glenice Côté of Caribou, Gayland and Joyce Côté of East Hartford, CT; sister in law, Karen Côté of East Hampton, CT; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Emile is predeceased by his brother, Delmer Côté.
A private celebration of Emile's life will be announced at a later date.
