THE VILLAGES, FL - Emil Joseph Huck, III, 74, of The Villages, FL passed away under the care of Legacy Hospice House, Ocala, FL on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Born in Detroit, MI he was the son of the late Emil J. Huck Jr. and Vivian M. Damman. Emil was a Veteran of the US Army Reserves.
Emil had worked in the restaurant industry all of his life. In 1978 he moved to Caribou, ME where he owned and operated three Burger King restaurants until his retirement. He moved to the Villages in 2000 where he was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Summerfield, FL.
Emil loved being in the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. His loud laugh and passion for storytelling will not be forgotten.
He will be deeply missed by his son: E.J. Huck, IV and his wife Carmen of Caribou, ME and daughter Jessica Huck and her husband Darshan Sappal of Malden, MA. He was the grandfather of Camden and Mason Huck of Caribou, ME. He is survived by a half-sister Nancy Haverland, and a half-brother Gary Huck. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Carole Walters of Fruitland Park, FL.
A visitation will be held at the Lancaster Funeral Home in Caribou, ME from 3-5pm on Saturday October 24th, where a memorial service will be held at 5pm.
