Elizabeth's Story

EXETER AND CORINTH - Elizabeth F. "Betty" "Mam" (Trask) Eaton, 85, a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at Stillwater Health Care and went to be with her Lord and daughter on October 19, 2015. She was born November 27, 1929 in Hudson the daughter of Albert G. and Inez E. (Jack) Trask Sr.

Betty graduated from Bradford High School, salutatorian of the class of 1948. Throughout her lifetime, she worked at Dow Air Force Base and several shoe factories, the last being Dexter Shoe where she retired after 30 years. Her world revolved around the caring and nurturing of her family. She had a true love for the outdoors, working in her yard, spending time at the beach, going for rides, stopping for a bite to eat and hitting every yard sale along the way.

Memories of her will be forever cherished by her daughter Karla Duran and husband Terry, son Gregory Eaton and daughter-in-law ,Kaneen, grandchildren, Jason Duran and wife Stacey, their children, Ashton and Addison, Jarrod Duran and wife Julie, their son, Joshua, Courtney Doyle and husband Jim, their children, Amanda and Nicholas, Zachary Eaton and his friend, Eriel Coulter and her children, Camryn and Bruce, Troy Dow and wife, Katherine, their children, Gavin, Aidan and Willa, Joseph Walton and his son, Maxwell. Also surviving are sisters, Gloria and Helen, brothers, June, George, and Carl, sisters-in-law, Norma, Ruth, Brenda, Donna and Pat, brother-in-law, Doug, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her daughter, Jolene Walton, a sister, Christine and brothers, David and Keith, brothers-in-law, Angus and Bert.

In celebration of her life, family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Corinthian Cemetery, Exeter Rd., Corinth, at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015. All are welcome back to Terry and Karla's after the service. The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Stillwater Health Care, for their care and support and to her roommate Dottie Adams for allowing us to take over their room.
