Eliese's Story

SOUTHBRIDGE, MA - Eliese A. (Titcomb) D'Eugenio, 93, of South St., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7th, in the Overlook Masonic Healthcare Center, Charlton, MA, after a brief illness.

Her husband, John J. D'Eugenio, predeceased her. She leaves her daughter, Lisa A. Frechette and her husband, David of Southbridge, MA; a stepson, Joseph D'Eugenio of Cromwell, CT; a stepdaughter, Noreen D'Eugenio of Upton, MA; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Frechette, Kathryn Eliese Frechette and Jennifer Lynn Frechette, all of Southbridge, MA; a step granddaughter, Margaret Carroll Salazar; 2 step great-grandchildren, Victoria Salazar and Andrew Salazar; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Marshall D'Eugenio in 1998. She was also predeceased by her stepson, John D'Eugenio and her sister, Daurice Mann Burhoe. She was born in Levant, ME, the daughter of Marshall and Alice (Storer) Titcomb.

Eliese worked as a nanny for a loving family in Framingham, MA for many years. She previously worked for the National Biscuit Co. (now Nabisco) in Cambridge, MA. She grew up on a farm and loved to work with plants and she previously helped her husband to run a Nursery in upstate New York. Eliese was a very active member of the Holland Congregational Church in Holland, MA. When she lived in Maine she was a Literacy Volunteer with the Literacy Volunteers of America.

Her funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10th, at Holland Congregational Church, 11 Sturbridge Rd., Holland, MA. Burial in Waugh Cemetery, Levant, ME will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14th, at 1 p.m. Calling hours in the Daniel T.
