Elaine's Story

OLD TOWN - Elaine Marie Kimball, 48, peacefully went to rest with the Angels in Heaven January 17, 2015. She was born April 8, 1966 in Dover-Foxcroft, ME a daughter of Jacqueline Ann Trafton and Robert Kimball.

Elaine was a loving, caring, and compassionate woman who loved her children dearly. She will be remembered for her artistic ability in pencil drawing, painting, and singing. She owned and operated Sunrise Daycare in China for many years. She enjoyed the beach and camp at China Lake, and playing cards and laughing with friends.

She is survived by three children Holly Saberi of Hartland, Darney Adams of North Berwick, and Selaina Leigh of Washington; a granddaughter Leah; mother Jacqueline Trafton of Bangor, father Robert Kimball of Waterville, her Grammy Kimball, three sisters Becky Haynes of China, Denise McLain of Hermon, and Melissa Moran of Glenburn, brother Bobby Kimball of Waterville; several nieces, nephews, cousins. She is also survived by several special friends and caregivers. She was predeceased by her sister Linda Johnson.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:30AM Sunday at the Birmingham Funeral home 438 Main St. Old Town
