He was born Sept 28, 1942 in Bangor, the son of Myrtle (Potter) Murphy. Ed adored his family and was proud of each and every one of them. He took his marriage vows with sincere conviction and his love for his wife grew stronger with each passing year. They were always there for each other. He enjoyed his talks with his son-in-law, Tom and looked forward to hearing about future accomplishments of his grandson, Maxx. Ed enjoyed special times with each of his grandchildren and especially enjoyed picking up his granddaughter Madisson from Bangor Christian Schools. He had a great love for his "Florida Family" and held a sense of pride in being the oldest of nine siblings. Ed will be missed by his longtime friend, Jerry Crowley.
