- Edward J. Frautten, 75, passed away in his sleep on December 21, 2016. He was born May 19, 1941, in Dexter, to Stanley and Evelyn (Clukey) Frautten. He was a caring and loving husband, father, and PampPamp to his special grandson Jack.
Ed married the former Nancy Hartford on June 30, 1962, and they had nearly 55 years together. Ed attended Dexter schools and served in the Army reserves. Ed worked at the Dexter Shoe Company 32 years. He later worked at Bud's Shop and Save and at Dave's World before retiring. Ed enjoyed being around people and spending time with his son and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Mike and wife Nicky and grandson Jack; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ed was predeceased by a daughter Kathi in 1995.
There will be no services at this time. A spring graveside funeral and committal service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Those who wish may make memorial donations to Sarah's House, P.
