DEXTER - Edith C. Garrison, 97, died January 17, 2015 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born November 10, 1917 in Dexter, a daughter of Horace and Alphonsine (Giguere) Poulin. She graduated from N. H. Fay High School and belonged to the Young Ladies Guild. She will be remembered as the cashew lady at the Ben Franklin Store in Dexter. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter and was a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella. Edith was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son David and wife Margie Garrison of Dexter, and a daughter Anne and husband Peter Keyte, of Ft. Pierce, Florida; a sister, Geraldine Beaulieu of West Warwick, RI; 4 grandchildren, Bruce and wife Mary Garrison, Michelle and husband Roy Clavette, Brian Keyte and wife Allison, Shawn Keyte and wife Joy; 8 great grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Grace, Kyle, Kody, Eric, Courtney, Emily, Hannah and Max; 2 great great grandchildren, Elena Batchelder and Dylan Garrison; as well as special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Garrison in 1942, 9 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Crosby& Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 A.M. Thursday , January 22nd, at St. Annes, Free Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Cahill and Deacon David Denbow officiating. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
