KENDUSKEAG - Earle F. LeVasseur, 77, died Oct. 5, 2015 in Bangor after a lengthy period of declining health. He was born July 5, 1938 in Brewer, the son of Clarence B. LeVasseur, Sr. and Avonne E. (Lamb) LeVasseur.
Earle loved to play bingo and go to Bangor to play the slot machines. He was also an avid CB radio operator.
Surviving are one daughter, Lori Andrews and her husband, Wayne of Kenduskeag, 2 grandchildren, Amy Genereux and her husband, Joseph of Newport and Ashley "Poopa" Andrews of Kenduskeag and her fiancé, Lucas Bradford of Old Town; a special son, Keith Perron of Methuen, MA; three brothers, Paul LeVasseur and his wife, Janice of St. Albans, John LeVasseur and his wife, Therese of Lillian, AL and Laurence LeVasseur of Brewer; nieces and nephews. Earle was predeceased by his first wife, June A. "Mammie" LeVasseur and by his second wife, Shirley D. LeVasseur. He will be remembered by a very special friend, Sandy Peirce.
A memorial open house will be held 12 - 5 PM Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 at the family home, 319 Mudgett Road, Kenduskeag. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Earle's Family at the address above. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.
