Dwight's Story

ABBOT - Dwight L. Easler, 66, died January 31, 2015, at Brewer Rehab in Brewer. He was born in Dover-Foxcroft, August 29, 1948, the son of Leon and Luella (Currier) Easler Sr.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was employed at several of the local businesses including Dexter Shoe, the Wagon Wheel Restaurant and the Guilford Irving Station. He was an avid Pats and Red Sox fan.

He is survived by 2 sons, Derek Easler of Bangor and Adam Easler of Cornish; a daughter, Angelina Murphy and her husband, James, of Hampden; 2 grandsons, Cameron and Anthony of Bangor; 5 brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street, Guilford, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Spring burial will be in the Abbot Village Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Brewer Rehab for their care, especially his favorite nurse, Lisa.
