Dwain's Story

CORINTH - Dwain V. Clement, 84, husband of Irene B. (Spinney) Clement, went to be with the Lord, July 5, 2014 at his home in Corinth with his wife and sons at his side. He was born Aug. 28, 1929 in Bangor, the son of Vernon G. and Madeline A. (Fleweling) Clement.

Dwain was a longtime resident of Corinth and worked as a meat cutter and salesman for most of his working life for both W.A. Bean & Sons and for Star Beef.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 65 years of Corinth are three sons, Dwain G. and Wayne V. both of Corinth and Michael E. of Newport; one daughter, Wanda J. Duran and her husband, Steve of Corinth; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Ethel Mullen and her husband, Gary of Levant, Linda Theriault of Milo and Shirley Hill and her husband, John of Kenduskeag; a special nephew, Carroll Lyons and his wife, Priscilla of Medway.

A graveside service and burial honoring Dwain's life will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth with Pastor Dalton Dunfee, presiding. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
