STETSON AND OLD TOWN - Dorothy Jean(Dubay) Landry 69, died on August 10, 2014. She was born November 13, 1944 in Old Town the daughter of Gerard and Juliette(Jamm) Dubay. Dorothy graduated from Old Town High School. She worked for Penobscot Shoe Co, in the factory and then in the payroll office. She later worked for the town of Bradley for a couple of years. In 1978 she and her husband started their own plumbing and heating business until their retirement in 1996. Dot enjoyed her fall trips with her sisters and all the Christmas Eve's and Thanksgiving dinners at her home. She especially loved going dancing with her husband. Dot is survived by one brother, Francis Dubay and his wife Anne of Old Town, two sisters Nancy Oakes and her husband Walter of Milo, Beverly Therrien and her husband Wayne of Stillwater. A special nephew Kenny Therrien and his wife Lisa of Milford and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years Arthur H. Landry , her parents Gerard and Juliette Dubay, her sister Rose Simpkins and her sister Joan Cote. Friends and family may visit Friday August 15 2014, 6pm to 8pm at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on August 16, 2014 at 10am at the Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Parish 429 Main St Old Town. Graveside services will follow at St Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. There will be a light luncheon served at the Parish Hall after the Mass, everyone is invited to attend. Donations can be made in memory of Dorothy to the Society of the Little Flower 1313 Frontage Road, Darien IL 60561-5340 or a charity of your choice.
