OLD TOWN - Donna M Lilley, 50, died peacefully in the early morning hours of Good Friday April 3, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 26, 1964 in Bangor a daughter of Clarence and Mae (McLaughlin) Wickett.
Donna was a 1983 graduate of Old Town High School and attended ABI Bible College in St. Paul, MI. She was an active member of the Orono Faith Tabernacle, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and the church secretary. Family was important to her and she enjoyed time spent visiting, sharing stories, and family reunions. She was employed at the University of Maine bookstore and her work family was an important part of her life as well.
She is survived by her husband Craig Lilley; son Brandon Lilley; 10 siblings Doreen Sanborn and her husband Carlton, Richard Wickett and his wife Betty, Rosella Dyer and her husband Danny, Terry Wickett and his wife Cristol, Gerry Wickett, Alan Wickett and his wife Irene, Jeffrey Wickett, Michael Wickett and his wife Ginette, Donald Wickett and his companion Nancy, Lorna O'Clair and her husband Alan, mother-in-law Elva Gurney, brothers-in-law Wayne Robichaud, Larry Lilley and his wife Cindy, Danny Lilley; two sisters-in-law Brenda Wickett and Donna Wickett; many nieces, nephews, and cousins and her loving companion, her cat Princess. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Starlene Robichaud and nephew Shawn Sapiel.
Friends may call 6-8PM Tuesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. A funeral service will be conducted 2PM Wednesday at the Christ Church of Faith, Pea Cove Bennoch Road, Old Town. Spring burial will be at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. The family wishes to personally thank New Hope Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Donna.
