DEXTER - Donald William MacDougall left us for his Heavenly home on May 19, 2016, with his family by his side. He was born in Dexter on March 30,1939, the son of William and Irene (Henderson) MacDougall. Don owned and operated MacDougall's Bakery in Dexter for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth (Cook). He had three children, Linda married to Tim Wilcox of Boothbay, Andy married to Leisha Johnson of Boothbay and Lisa married to James Gove of Scarborough. His extended family consists of 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Royal; a deceased infant brother; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Exeter on May 29 at 3 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shepherd's Godparents Home in Bangor or to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
