BRADLEY - Delia Yvonne Trimm, 95, died October 21, 2015 at an Orono health care facility with family by her side. She was born March 7, 1920 in Milford a daughter of Fred and Mary (Russell) Hamel.
Family was the most important aspect of Delia's life and she was the glue that kept them close. She loved her husband and her sons dearly. She looked forward to the annual Christmas Eve gathering at her house. She enjoyed fishing and spending time at camp on Chemo Pond or taking a drive with her husband to find a new place to eat. She was also active in her community, serving as past president of VFW Post #3381 Women's Auxiliary, Chaplain of MOCA #21, past secretary of the Old Town Senior Citizens, and active in the Old Town bowling League. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and going to Monday Knight Bingo at the KC hall.
She is survived by four sons Frederick Trimm and his wife Dawn of Bradley, Stephen Trimm and his wife Betty of Eddington, Ronald Trimm and his wife Michele of Milford, and Merle Trimm and his wife Cindy of Milford; grandchildren Shannon Whitmore, Matthew Trimm, Stephen Trimm Jr., Rebecca Trimm, Nicholas Trimm, Meghan Hird, Michael Trimm, Brent St. Germain, and Kristina Lombas; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Carroll Trimm in 2007, son Leo Paul St. Germain, grandsons Leo Paul St. Germain Jr., and Brad Trimm; and nine siblings.
Friends may call 4-6pm Sunday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10AM Monday at Parish of the Resurrection, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bradley. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Bradley.
