- Debbie Ann Cantwell, 56, passed away peacefully at home January 11, 2017 in the arms of her husband after a 2 year battle with Cancer. Debbie was born on September 26, 1960 at EMMC. She was predeceased by her parents Ruth (Knowlton) Shaw and Arthur Shaw. Debbie was a graduate from Bangor High School and Beal College with High Honors. She worked at Lemforders for many years as a machinist and as a librarian at Beal College. Debbie enjoyed; hunting, fishing, camping, yard work, gardening, playing with her grandchildren, bingo, going on long road trips and just being with her family and friends. Debbie is survived by her loving husband and Best Friend of 40 years George Cantwell Jr. of Holden; Daughter Kim Kimball and her husband Steve Kimball of Holden; Son George Cantwell III and his fiance Erika Stewart of Holden/Hartland; Son Bret Cantwell and his girlfriend Kristina Guptill of Hermon; Daughter Loretta Cantwell of Holden; Seven Grandchildren whom she loved so very much: Jordan Kimball, Dillon Kimball, Damon Kimball, all of Holden; Michaela Stewart, Cheyanne Wentworth both of Hartland; Makenzie Guptill and Micah Cantwell both of Hermon. Brother Robert Shaw of Bangor; Brother Wayne Shaw and his wife Mary Jane Shaw of Hermon; Sister Susan Grant and her husband Jim Grant of Glenburn; Sister Lisa Clark-Wetherbee of Florida; Brother James Clark and his wife Jessii Clark of Florida. Two Sister in laws Donna Hall of Holden; Debra Taggett of Hampden. Nieces and Nephews: Chasity Ellis, Suzanne Hall, Wayne Shaw Jr., Rachael Wetherbee, James Clark Jr. and Jeremiah Clark. Two very special sisters by heart Ruth Buzzell of Hermon and Lois Meeks of Hermon. A good friend Robert Milliken of Holden. And many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Today you gained your Angel Wings. Fly High. We Love you and will miss you so much.
There will be a Celebration of Life gathering held at 2 p.m., with a service to follow at 3 p.m. Friday January 20, 2017 at Holden Congregational Church, 9 Rider Bluff rd. Holden, Me 04429. Reception will follow.
