- David V. Pushor, 89, died April 17, 2017, at a Bangor nursing facility. He was born January 5, 1928, in Exeter, a son of Merton and Mary (Thomas) Pushor. David was a longtime employee of Eastern Fine Paper. When the mill closed he moved to Florida and worked at a paper mill there. He later worked at Anheuser Bush in Jacksonville, FL, moving back to Maine and retiring after working with a bridge maintenance crew.
He is survived by his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Shirley of Zephyrhills, FL; two sons, Peter of Exeter and Timothy of Hartland; a daughter, Ruth and husband Jack Davis of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Kristen, Kimberly, Amy and Amanda; two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22nd, 2017, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, with Pastor Al Worden officiating.
