PARKMAN - David F. Kennett, 67, died May 7, 2015, at his home in Parkman. He was born in Veazie, March 30, 1948, the son of Roland and Esther (Ford) Kennett.
He graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1966. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Following his time in the Navy, he joined the Air National Guard, where he served for over 20 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. David was a member of the Masons for over 20 years. For many years he also worked for Bangor Hydro, until his retirement in 2011. Many local people would know Dave from his retirement job at the Guilford Shell station.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Grant) Kennett of Parkman; 5 stepchildren, Tess, Tina, Tani, Bravis and Brian; 2 sisters, Martha Gervaisis and Nancy Campbell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews.
